Free fax usage—DSPs and clients are welcome to send and receive faxes at the TIHC office during office hours, M-F, 8:30-4pm.

Free computer stations with internet—  DSPs and clients are welcome to use the two computer stations in the reception area of the TIHC office during business hours, M-F, 8:30-4pm.  Do on-line training, check your email, complete basic on-line needs (please no surfing or questionable websites First come, first serve.  Limit 1 hour at a time. 

Free use of printer/fax/ copier—  DSPs and clients are welcome to print, fax and copy documents on the office machine during business hours.

Free Notary Public—Proof of ID (photo ID) required.  Free for employees and clients.  Do not sign the document until you are with the notary. Call first to make sure the notary is in the office.

Assistance with Health Insurance Marketplace—Charlie Upton with HR Benefits is a local insurance broker who can assist with enrollment in the Kansas Health Insurance Marketplace (aka Affordable Care Act or ObamaCare).  Contact Scott for more details.

 Pay advance for new employees—in order to assist new DSPs with the initial cost of caregiving (specifically the cost of transportation) during their first 30 days of employment with TIHC, employees can apply for up to $100 pay advance after having worked 15 hours.

Emergency Employee Assistance pay advance-- In order to help with those unexpected emergencies we all face on occasion, employees in good standing may be eligible for up to $250 pay advance.

Free Tax Services through AARP—at annual tax time, contact the Douglas County Senior Services office to schedule your appointment.  Free tax services are available to people of all ages.
